Abracadabra is a dream come true for owners Nadia (NZ) and Justin (Hawaii/California) who share a combined lifetime love for good food, cooking & hospitality. They bring a wealth of experience having spent many years traveling the world drawing inspiration from different cultures.

Set in a vintage 1940s house that offers three charismatic private rooms for meetings, parties or intimate experiences. With a rustic bohemian feel, we are a Cafe by day with a tropical Garden Bar to spend sunny afternoons relaxing in & a Restaurant & Bar by night.

Our Cafe draws inspiration from the culinary riches of Mexican & Moroccan cuisine. We offer an extensive range of wholesome delicious homemade cakes & savories, vegetarian & kiwi style meals, as well as a selection of raw & vegan treats, which vary daily. We support local businesses by serving their fresh fish, meats, produce & we are proud to serve free-range chicken & eggs. We provide Ozone organic fair trade coffee & Soul Organics raw cold pressed juice.

We are known for our popular cocktail menu, which has been designed exclusively for us & we support Rotorua wine makers Volcanic Hills Winery & Croucher Brewing craft beer.

Our goal is to cook for you & provide a rustic, bohemian unique ambiance so that you may feel inspired, connect with loved ones & make new friendships.

Reservations are recommended, as we are a large but busy Restaurant. Abracadabra is suitable for casual or intimate dining & we can hold functions for up to 99 people.
